Items necessary to offer as sacrifice to become a Gladiator:
Your Master Equipment

Your Grand Master Equipment

You must then sacrifice 250 million experience.
You must also sacrifice 500 Health and 500 Mana.
You must be a Master and defeated all four Creants (Medusa, Shamensynth, Tauren, and Lady Phoenix).

Once a gladiator, you are unable to have any Master or Grand Master equipment re-created. No more Master Axes, no more Escalons, no more Falcatas. The first level of equipment for a Gladiator is not as strong as your previous grand master equipment, but as you progress through levels you can obtain better equipment.

Medenia Gladiator Hunting Tactics
[Aislon Prairie, Noam Plains, Desert of Fire only]
Hunting in Medenia is fairly simple but very annoying as well. First off, if you wish to do any soloing, be prepared to log off. Some creatures have health so low that you can take them out in one charge. Others have much more and will require a lot of damage to defeat them. If you happen to hit a creature at all, it will blind, suain, pause, halt, and poison you while it commenses to give you a powerful beat down (roughly 5k per hit, 3 hits per second). If you are not grouped, log off as soon as your screen goes black - or else you're as good as dead.

One good thing is all creatures become non-hostile as soon as you leave the map, their screen, or the game. If you get something hostile that you know you can't deal with, get out of there. Medenia is not for soloers at all.

When hunting in a group, the best way to stay alive (and I can't stress this more) is to wait for Mesmerize or blind to hit the creature. From there, they cannot strike back. They can still cast the auto-matic reaction spells for you hitting them but that is all. If they have fas and dark seal on, there is a possibility your "combo" of charge, mad soul/dtk, dune swipe, crasher, or mantis kick could kill them before mesmerize or blind it on it.. but it's a chance you'd be taking. If it doesn't, prepare to be suained and then killed.

Hunting in Medenia is slow for Ability points. The Praerie around Asilon is low A. Exp creatures (ranging from none to 3) and the Plains and Desert is the highest currently (from 3 to 11 A. Exp). However, the Praerie isn't hunted as often so it's better to go there for items and to the Plains and Desert for A. Exp.

Bring at least 30 hemloch deums with you on every hunt and have some friends carry some as well. Once they are blinded or mezzed, feel free to down a hemloch and crasher. Not only does it make the hunt smoother, it trains your levels and it looks cool too. The order of the ways to hunt in a group the best is simple. Let rogues/archers blind the creatures and as soon as it's blind, start smashing onto it. Always go after the ones with either fas or dark seal first. Enjoy!
