The Lorais quest is one of the easiest quests to perform in Medenia. To start, if you are insecure of your abilities in fighting bring along a priest or bard. Also go to the Potion shop in town and purchase an Empty Bottle from Braishi. (The potion shop is south of the Bank at the left side of Asilon). Now head to the Medenia inn (bottom side of Asilon) and speak to Jedas outside of the inn.

Hello. I hope you are enjoying your stay here. We've been welcoming all sorts of visitors recently. I wish I could offer better hospitality, but..

Well.. This town used to be very quiet and tranquil. We would go about our daily business. The most exciting thing to happen in a day would be old man fox scaring the hens.

About two cycles ago, Lorais came hoarding into town. Oh they'd always come through in ones and twos, but now they come in great numbers!

We can't seem to get rid of them. I am afraid that it is causing our guests great discomfort. I want people to have happy memories of Asilon

I'd really want to get rid of these things. I should deal with this myself. I don't want to be a burden, but..

I think there is something driving these pests, but I don't know what. Would you help deal with this problem?

Oh you will? Thank you! The cotton fields are where the annoying little Lorai like to raid.

If you find anything that might indicate what is driving these vicious pests, please let me know.
Walk to your right until you notice the cotton fields.

Wait for a Lorais to appear. Slay it (with the help of your priest or bard if need be). Then walk around the cotton field until you get this popup:
The ground here is soaked. You see a puddle of strange liquid with a powdery substance floating inside it.

You fill the empty bottle with the strange liquid.
Return to Jedas with the mysterious potion and speak with him.
Hello again. What have you found?

You've found it? Here, let me see.

Ahh.. Hmm.. Curious, very curious.

I'm not quite sure what this is. It looks like an ingredient or potion of some sort, but I can't tell.

I know who can tell us what this is. Kabok of Noam is learned in these things. He will know what it is.
Head to the Village of Noam (either walking or via the Caravan option from Lenoa in the center of the city). Walk into town and you'll notice Kabok. Speak with him about the mysterious potion.
Hello. I have just recieved word from Jedas. Let me see what you have brought me.

So it is true.. Dioram in Asilon, and the Lorais are feeding off it. This bodes ill, indeed.

There must be more to this than meets the eye. I will send people to Asilon to look into this.

YourName go back to Asilon and kill the Lorais for Jedas. After you have exterminated the Lorais, go to Jedas he as some ability experience for you.

I will do my part from here. You must exterminate the Lorais that have fed from the Dioram well.

I thank you for bringing this to my attention. Goodbye.
Return to Asilon and speak to Jedas again.
Thank you for your help with this work, YourName. I recieved a message from Kabok.

He says it will be finished soon. In the mean time, go rid the town of those pest Lorais.
Return to the cotton field, destroy all Lorais (with your priest or bard's assistance), and speak with Jedas one final time.
You've killed some of those pesky Lorais?

Great, you've killed all of the Lorais in the town. Kabok will take care of the rest.

YourName, I wish I had something to give you for help. But all I can do is give you a blessing of Good Lick!

Thank you again! Goodbye, and luck be with you!
For completing the quest, you get up to 100 Ability Experience and a legend mark:
 Killed Lorais 1-5
You can perform the quest up to five times. The first time you get 100 Ability Points, 50 for the second time, 25 for third, 10 for fourth, and 5 for fifth. After you finish the quest five times, the following message is what you will receive from Jedas.
Hello again! I wish to thank you again for your aid. Without it I would have been in dire straights indeed!

I hope we can remain friends, you and I. I might wish to ask another favor of you in the future. I think you are a trustworthy aisling.

Well.. enjoy your stay for now, and thank you again!
