This quest requires a male and a female counterpart. The walkthrough is from the Female standpoint.
Begin by entering the Mileth Tavern. Speak to Aingeal, the bartender behind the counter.

The quest begins by having the Male counterpart speak to Aingeal in the Mileth Tavern. He will recieve a few prompts and then the messages will turn over to you.
	[Male Counterpart's Name] is looking for the cause of a dear woman's grief, and her lost love. If you aided him, each of youw ould only have one Temuairan day to discover her. [((1 Temuairan day = 3 Terran hours))] [Male Counterpart's Name] is looking for the cause of a dear woman's grief, and her lost love. I know she will not talk to any man, so he is asking you to join his effort. [She tells you of Duana / Riona / Frida's sadness] Her goblet is everfull. Brimmed with tears so that she may fool her heart. Duana / Riona / Frida of Abel pours draughts of wine down her soul's sorrow.   Go to her quickly! [((Go to the mundane and say "The Letter" to her))]
You need to say "The Letter" to one of the following mundanes: Duana, the dancer in the same tavern; Riona, the inn keeper in Mileth; or Frida, the tavern keeper in Abel.
	Need you ask of my grief? It is for Glaisne / Fiachra / Griogar, that I hang my head in sorrow. I wish it were so simple as love, but woe is coupled with loss and regret. Glaisne / Fiachra / Griogar served duty in the Court of Loures. For me, he did this. To win my love he took their oath. But why did he decide tob reak my heart? First it was his shameful act, and I was shocked and full of hate. But after his last brave battle, I my heart goes out to him. If only I could know his last thoughts. Honor his memory with pride. He displayed great Valor and Dedication to Loures on his last day. I am told he charged like a Kelberoth upon our adversaries, without regard for safety. Glaisne / Fiachra / Griogar accepted a final mission after the Pool of Shadows. Through the letter he fought valiantly, and I've heard rumor that he fought as if he were mad. All I may relate that may help you is one of Glaisne / Fiachra / Griogar's friends. I will tell your companion, because he will be able to get a more honest answer from one of these men. [She turns and speaks with [Male Counterpart's Name]]
She speaks with [Male Counterpart's Name] and tells him of her beloved's friend. [Male Counterpart's Name] will tell you where this person is. It will be one of these three: Find Lowell in the last room of the long corridor in the Loures castle. He is in the room beyond the one you see Blanchefleur. He sells armor. Find Sir Thibault in the king's throne room in the Loures Castle. Find Courtney in the king's throne room in the Loures Castle. The male will say "The Letter" to the mundane or "The Love Letter" if the Female/Option is Courtney, the court jester. After a few pop-ups for the Male Counterpart, you will then go seek Baltasar in Rucesion. Find Baltasar in the house at the far left corner of Rucesion. Wait for [Male Counterpart's Name] to say "The Letter" to him.
	[He looks nervously at [Male Counterpart's Name]] Yes, I knew Glaisne / Fiachra / Griogar very well, and I knew the letters he wrote, too. One time he had written a letter and was about to deliver it. It was several years ago. It was before Deoch dating, in the very last years of Danaan, oh, was it 3291 or 3292? He and several others were sent to Rucesion to fight the dubhaimid. But something was wrong. Terribly wrong. Glaisne / Fiachra / Griogar's face was pale upon returning and his fists clenched in anger. Dubhaimid evil? No, Loures was to blame for his sorrow, and for a thousand innocent soulds gnawed by Sgrios at that bridge. The Bridge of Dawn. [Guilt creeps along his brow] I have seen him hide one of his letters before. I admit ... I have read one his letters. He could have never told me of the bridge and the awful shadows. In the Library of Loures, there is a book case on the farthest left. Search between the bookcase and the wall there.
Head to Loures' Library in the back of the castle beyond the king's throne room. Walk along the book case to the left corner of the room.
	You attempt to pull out the compartment, but you need [Male Counterpart's Name]'s help.
Wait for your partner to assist you.
	With (Male Assistant)'s aid, you pull out a compartment to find three old letters. Danaan 3291, Fall   - Bridge of Dawn Dear Duana / Riona / Frida, I have murdered the innocent in the name of Loures' Triumph. I could not relay previously the contents of my heart because of its weight and those that may intercept the letter. Among the Dubhaimid fiends were several peasants who had cleverly drawn the Dubhaimid out of their castle in order to protect outlying villages from the iron grip of Loures.   We slaughtered them. In doing so I may as well have slain myself, because I died on the battlefield. My soul's stricken with the weight. Yours through all. Danaan 3292, Fall   - Pool of Shadows Dear Duana / Riona / Frida, I would deliver the letter of the Bridge of Dawn had I courage. I havn't. Even now I lack it. Had I courage I would have never set foot in Undine, let alone near its sacred pool. The Pool of Shadows? The shadows, the dark creatures there were unarmed Undine citizens protecting their home. Loures' soldiers raized them and inflicted ten brutal deaths for each one of the unarmed werecunning enough to deal against us. I deserted Undine. Nevermore may I kill in the name of Loures' Triumph. Their greatest victory was over me. Remorseful, yet Yours Forever. Deoch 1, Spring - My Last Dear Duana / Riona / Frida, My soul has not set well with what I have become. I love you through it all and mean no ill upon you. Never believe that you had anything to do with my death. Never think that I was fighting to win Glory to become worthy to wed you. Had I not attended the Pool of Shadows, I would not be what I have become. As is, this is my last. I cannot bear the guilt any longer. Throuth life and through death, Yours and Yours Alone. Return to Duana / Riona / Frida in the Mileth or Abel Tavern. Say "The Letter" to Duana / Riona / Frida.
	You explain the fate of Glaisne / Fiachra / Griogar. She listens intently, weeping all the while. She finally bows her head, accepting it.
You gain 150000 Experience (at level 99) and one of the three random items: Man's Bouquet (x10) Man's Sweetheart (x10) Eternal Love Ring (Female Assistant) gains 150000 Experience and one of the three random items: Woman's Bouquet (x10) Woman's Sweetheart (x10) Eternal Love Ring You can say "The Letter" to Duana / Riona / Frida for a final message.
