Some more minor details. My first character was Vamistle in deoch 5. He was guided by Genghis, but because he died four times (four scars) before 11th insight and it was such a hard time to find priests with faith to remove them he was deleted. My successor to Vamistle was not Sath. It was Baerin. I still have Baerin as well. Baerin was just very weak and though he didn't die, I wasn't satisfied with his effort. I made Sath. Sath went all strength. He was one of the strongest and I was proud of him.. until he reached nearly 41st insight. He was doomed to fail beyond that. He did not have beag suain and one mor-level spell in East Woodlands 14+ killed him. He had no con and a base health of 1500 at level 41.. I then re-made Vamistle in Deoch 8. The new Vamistle went all con until con was a base of 28. Then he went strength. Because of con at an early level, Vamistle reached 99th insight with a base hp of nearly 7000 - higher than anyone other than Ghost (who went to 100 con or more methinks) Vamistle was weak but I made many of my greatest accomplishments on him. He was healthy so people hunted with him (a good tank). He was one of the first to master the warrior path. When stat buying came out, he was very powerful due to all of the health he had.. but then the adoration of danaan came. It ruined his stat-buying process putting him over on max str and leaving him at 155 con base. Stat reallocation was just a whisper back then and like a whisper it vanished from reality for well over a year. Steadfast though, Vamistle waited and not effortlessly. He hunted. He pooled experience. He saved where everyone told him to spend. When reallocation did come that fabled day.. Vamistle ascended.. for three days straight. He was the first aisling to ever max-all stats. He had saved 2.8 billion experience over the course of the year (which back then was a great accomplishment) The times have changed greatly. If Sath had Dark Belts, Naomh Aite, Fas Nadur, and Dark Necklaces back then he would likely have been the Vamistle of today. |
